We were going to go to the Texas State Fair this Saturday...until we realized it was also the TX-OU game and decided to skip out...Instead, we went to Pirate Days in The Colony which was awesome. Here's what we loved about Pirate Days:
!. Paid $5 to get in
2. Jackson got into the petting zoo, bounce house, and corn maze for FREE and we had a blast
3. It was right by the lake so we got to feed the ducks. I think he's telling them not to leave in the picture.
4. They had bands on one stage, and performers on another, and everyone was dressed as pirates.
5. You can find the same foods at each venue
6. If you want, you can pay $10 for an arm band that gets the kids into a few more activities, but we chose not to, and still had a blast!

you're not missing anything. the fair is lame, and what you did looks way more fun.
