Thanksgiving was Kirk's 28th birthday and he started the day off by playing some Turkey bowl football. The rest of us went running/walking at the Nature Preserve. That evening, dinner was awesome. Sorry, no pictures, but I did my first turkey brine and it turned out really well. From now on, there is on other way to do a turkey, except to smoke it.
I went shopping with my mom and sister on Black Friday which was fun, especially since we didn't go really early.
Here are some pictures of the things we did.

We went to the Gaylord Texan to see the Christmas decorations. By far, my favorite thing was the HUGE gingerbread house which was real!

This was a beautiful mosaic at Thanksgiving Square downtown.

This is the Thanksgiving ring. It echoes when you stand inside it.

This is inside the Thanksgiving Tower. What a neat experience this was. Glad we discovered it. Afterward, we walked to the JFK assassination site. We had lots of fun learning about history. Even the kids liked it all!

It was cold out, so Jackson got to snuggle with Kirk. Aren't they adorable!

My niece and Jackson riding the train at the Christmas Trees in Flower Mound.

It was sure cold, but the trees were beautiful!
