Jackson finished soccer a few weeks ago but I forgot to post this cute picture of his little team. He still talks about playing soccer and now reads books from the library all about soccer and talk about how he's going to play again in the fall, when he starts kindergarten!

We did a color 5K race a while ago but the paint hurt so bad when it dried on our skin and Jackson was freaking out about it, so we only ended up running half the race. I thought it was okay, but next time, we're gonna do the real deal! This one was just for my work.
Our kids have this defect where they don't like to sleep in their beds. I blame it on Kirk because he electively slept on the floor after his mission for years because he was in a minimalistic phase. Anyhow, here is Jackson's bed. Below, is where he chooses to sleep sometimes. And lately, now that the guest room is empty, he will only sleep in there!
See the lovely bed? See the lovely little girl sleeping on the floor? She's been doing that for months now and Kirk finally took her bed down and left the mattress on the floor. Now, she'll finally sleep on the mattress, but we are hoping to get her back in a bed some day...

Daddy took Jackson to a father-son campout and they had a pretty good time, other than the time Jackson ran off for about 10 minutes and Kirk couldn't find him:)
